NOTE: This will be a non-surgical clinic providing high-volume mobile wellness and sick animal care.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS:
Volunteers of all types are encouraged to apply.   No prior field experience required.

ARRIVAL:
You must be ready to meet your group at the time and location indicated.  If you are flying into the area, you should plan to fly in the night before to avoid missing your team due to flight changes or other delays. You will be responsible for coordinating your own ground transportation throughout the clinic.  

Please note that, in accordance with RAVS COVID safety protocols regarding team pod assignments, who you decide to travel with before and during the clinic will impact off-hour interactions throughout the clinic week. Detailed protocol information and planning recommendations will be provided for volunteers accepted to the trip.

DEPARTURE:
May 23 will be the last working day of the trip. Departure time will be dependent on case load and community needs, but we can expect to leave the community early evening on the 23rd. Flights may be booked out anytime May 24. You will be responsible for arranging your own accommodations prior to and after the arrival and departure times.

ACCOMMODATIONS:  
Sleeping arrangements will involve indoor camping in the clinic building or another local building provided by the community. It is important to pack anything you need to sleep comfortably. Details on outdoor camping or other lodging options will be provided to team members as available.

CLINIC INFORMATION:
You will be part of a team of volunteers working on the Leech Lake Reservation in Minnesota. We will be providing 3 days of wellness services in Leech Lake, MN. (https://www.llojibwe.org/)   

CONTINUING EDUCATION
This clinic is not eligible for RACE approved CE credit. Clinical training and orientations will focus on provision of intensive wellness care, assessment and treatment of various infectious diseases and injuries and provision of high quality basic veterinary services with limited resources
